Opening Credits

 What is the purpose of the opening credit? 

-An opening credits give you information on the main people that are starring the movie. It gives you an idea if you will like it or not so that you can continue watching. As a way the credits draws the audience in. When watching a movie you like to know who is in it, you'll most likely watch the movie if you have your favorite actor or someone you enjoying watching if they are in the movie. Opening credits also give a feel for the movie, for example a form of cinematography thats used is sound. The sound is important, you can know if a movie is mystery or romance just by the sound in the credits. 

What is the difference between opening credits and title sequence? 

-Opening credits is a list of people or actors shown one after the other in the starting of a movie. While a title sequence is a special scene that takes place and then the title of the movie shows before the actual movie starts.
