CCR-CREATIVE CONFLICT REFLECTION PLAN

The sound was a very good decision in response to how the film takes place. Since the film is a horror/mystery film, you can see that the song adds a lot of suspense. The credits throughout the video are very unique, and it was my partner's idea to incorporate that.

Social groups or issues usually represented in my genre are that its different when young women are walking in the dark. Women are more fragile and sensitive compared to men. It's a stereotype that women are inferior to men when it comes to defending themselves. I represented these challenges with the young ladies walking and laughing in the dark.

Our production company was chosen because they produce good films. If we wanted to have a good film it was only right to choose a good production company. We were looking based on all our favorite mystery and horror films.

Our film would be exhibited and marketed to audiences as a scary movie or a mystery. Most people tend to not like scary movies but high-quality movies tend to get a lot of viewers.

Our target audience is binge-watchers or late-at-night movie watchers. It is nice to know that you have someone that loves your movie and will sit there with popcorn and watch it. They would watch our film because they just want to watch a good movie and best believe that our movie is good.

Throughout this project, I had to remember the different shot types when filming and I also had to remember everything that incorporates into the movie when filming. At the beginning of the class, I didn't know anything about filming or even a single shot. Now I can differentiate shot types and convey the use of mise-en-scene.

The planning was somewhat easy because the idea was already in mind but when storyboarding and actually playing the part, there were minor complications. A relative did the shooting throughout the film which came out really good but we decided to edit the dialog and just add sound. Editing took a while, mostly because I and my partner were procrastinating but overall we got everything done nonetheless.

I am leaving this class as a little petite movie director. I will watch movies now and really understand the true meaning behind each movement and camera shot. I can deepen my understanding of the film and see how the director conveys mise-en-scene in the film.

For the filming, I only had a limited amount of resources so my partner and I decided to use our phones. I used my iPhone 11 and she used her iPhone XR. I didn't really learn anything different about the technology I was using since this is already a device I use daily.
